About Brad Hauer

Currently the Director of Golf at Hammock Beach Resort, PGA Golf Professional Brad Hauer oversees all golf operations for both the Ocean Course and Conservatory course at the luxurious resort located in Palm Coast, FL.  

Teaching for 25 years, Brad has gained extensive knowledge of the golf swing from some of the best instructors in the country to further enhance his teaching career. Brad has taught notables such as tennis great, Ivan Lendl and former Orlando Magic guard Penny Hardaway.

Brad has been a guest instructor on The Golf Channel’s Golf Academy Live show six times. He has also produced a series one minute and five minute single golf solutions, which air on the Golf Channel during commercial time slots. His work has been translated and is periodically broadcasted to the Asian markets.

Brad was the 2004 North Florida PGA player of the year, winning the CPC regional qualifier. He always ranks as a top player in the North Florida PGA Section, where he has qualified for 2 national Club Pro Championships, (CPC) and 6 Southern Regional CPC’s.

He has qualified for 2 regional US Open Qualifiers and has made the North / South Cup challenge team 4 times. Brad has competed in three PGA Tour events and one Nationwide event. The highlights of his golfing career include winning the 1984 Ray Fisher Wisconsin State Open with Skip Kendall and Steve Stricker in the field and playing golf with President George Herbert Bush, President George W. Bush, and Ivan Lendl at their golf course in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brad Hauer started his golf career at Tuckaway Country Club which was home of the PGA Tour Event, The Greater Milwaukee Open.

Attending Edison Junior College in Ft. Myers, Brad’s team made two National Junior College Championships placing 3rd and 5th consecutively. Brad finished his college golf career by transferring to Southeastern Louisiana University before turning professional.

He obtained his degree from Drake University in Des Moines, IA while working at the #1 private club in Iowa, the Wakonda Club.  Brad also apprenticed for one year at the North Shore Country Club in Chicago.
